Interactive Language Starter Set | Give the gift of a second language with the Habbi Habbi Starter Set + Reading Wand in Spanish. This set includes the brand’s signature Reading Wand which offers interactive learning without a screen. Your child can tap on any image or text on each of the five included books, and they will hear phrases, sounds, music and more. For a lower price just opt for 1 book+ the wand. Also comes in Mandarin!
wiggles book | Little fingers twist and turn, zig and zag, moving on, over, and through pages filled with fluorescent die-cut dots and playful, grooved paths. A fun way to get your kid involved in reading. This is from J&J a women-owned company out of Texas!
Chilly Dino Knit Sweater | super cool knitted sweater with dino’s wearing hats and scarves!
Ballerina Bear Sweater | this sweet and cozy sweater is just gorgeous and fun!
Indoor Wooden Activity Gym | set it up and take it down easily, this beautiful playgym is great for the littles physical activity! This one is also a great option.
Wooden Balance Board | Archer and Leo love this piece– its an arch for climbing, a balance board, a tunnel, a ramp… endless fun!
Kitchen Step Stool Convertible To Table | the littles LOVE helping in the kitchen, but its unsafe with just a normal chair (hi, my kid has fallen off the chair. Oops. This is on our list this year!). I love this one because it collapses down and is convertible into a little activity table with built in seat bench. One for each boy is necessary. I have to teach them young how to cook and wash dishes so they can do the work when they’re older. Raise good humans / give mama a break, LOL. This one is a bit less pricey at $190, but isnt convertible. It has a cool chalkboard though!
Play Silks | engage sight, touch, and imagination from babies to kids with these rainbow sensory scarves. Capes, butterfly wings, tents, small world play… so many uses for these gorgeous play scarves!
Kid Sized Chair Personalized | a chair perfectly sized for your little, with their name on it! Also in many other versions like cozy faux fur, teddy bear like sherpa, and pink!
Wooden Band in a Box | montessori at home with this set that has something for everyone. Love that this is a small fam owned biz off etsy! If you are on a budget, try this set.
Magnetic Fishing Set | We love our magnetic fishing set. It teaches hand eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills, colors, letters, patterns, and more!
Kinetic Sand | We LOVE kinetic sand in this house as a sensory activity. It is SO easy to clean up because it sticks to itself, unlike other sensory play classics such as regular sand or rice. It comes in a bunch of fun colours! We have 3 bags in a big tub and switch it up with toys– one day it is a monster truck ralley, another day it is building sand castles, and the next it is finding buried dinos! (also see these more girly monster trucks if they prefer that!)
Converse Hi-Tops | I have loved these for the boys for years now. My kids struggle with the slip-on type shoes, they always come off and they rub at their ankle. Hi-tops stay ON, don’t rub, I just throw them in the washer to clean (YESSSS, messy kid hack!), and you can size up and not worry about them falling off! Go here for Little Kids sizing (11-3), here for toddlers (2-10).
Hape Easel | we have had this for a year and Archer LOVES it. Easy cleanup/set up for painting, colouring, dry erase drawing, and chalkboard in the back. That means two kids can use this at once, YAY!
Mega Bloks | I don’t let much plastic toys into our house, thats just not my vibe because we go for a more Montessori approach. But nothing can substitute these blocks. Leo has loved them since he was about 10 months old, it is so good for hand eye coordination, fine motor, problem solving, and creativity. Archer is 4 and STILL loves these 2 years strong. They are durable and easy to sanitize too, just throw them in a fabric wash bag in the dishwasher top rack. Also comes in a pastel set with pops of pink!
Balance Bike | a step up from a tricycle scooter but before they ride a pedal bike, this is great indoors and out!
