ABOUT ME

Welcome to my little online home, where I invite you all to take a peek into my life.  This is essentially my online diary where I share lifestyle, fashion, food, beauty, DIY, to all things family and motherhood. This blog is a place where I document my journey as a twenty-something mama and woman trying to understand this crazy thing we call life, and I wanted to share that with you!

I was born and raised in small town Ontario, Canada, into a big family (with 5 siblings!) on a farm. Growing up with a more simple life has helped me to appreciate and reflect on exploring the ordinary to find fulfillment everyday– instead of waiting for the next vacation or trip to the beach.

I went through university for my BBA, specializing in marketing and international geopolitics. I worked in the fast-paced corporate world for 4 years right out of school, and now consider myself a reformed workaholic (ha ha). I now live in The Blue Mountains, Ontario, with my husband Tyler, son Archer, and our dog Valkyrie. We are expecting our 2nd child this year, so excited! Being a mom is my first priority these days, but when I am not busy momming I am working through real estate courses to be a broker and working on this blog and my YouTube channel.

Here I will explore the adventure in the everyday. Our world is fast paced and we miss the wonder and beauty in the little things that make life fulfilling. It’s a reminder that we don’t have to travel the world to find adventure (although it doesn’t hurt!). I share with you my daily thoughts, DIYs,  tips through motherhood, beauty and style advice. From my more personal posts to my beauty posts, I hope Adventurous Ray inspires you to learn something new, express yourself through your style and seek adventure in the everyday.
