The perfect green smoothie to kick-start your day for long lasting energy, good mood, brain function and maintaining good hair, skin, and nails! π₯
This recipe is rich in healthy fats, giving your brain that boost it needs to be focused, alert, and maintain memory. Fats give you long lasting clean energy without the crash, so now more mid morning fatigue! It’s also loaded with over 25 vitamins and minerals, as well as protein and fiber. Scroll for the recipe!
INGREDIENTS
1 organic avocado, pitted and peeled (tip: freeze diced avocado in advance!)
1 cup organic plant-based milk (I love unsweetened vanilla almond)
1 scoop of collagen/MCT blend powder (I love this one from Aura Nutrition)
1 teaspoon of coconut oil
2 tsp Manuka honey or 2 dates
Other optional add in’s:
- 1 tsp Ashwaganda powder (an adaptogen that helps manage stress in the body, boost your brain, and more. Read more about it here!)
- 1 tsp Matcha green tea powder (for clean energy)
- 1 tsp Maca powder (increase energy, mood, libido, and fertility)
- 1 tsp Siberian Ginseng (for stress management and energy)
Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high until super smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy with a straw!
