Sure, you could shop at chains like Starbucks or David’s Tea, but these indie tea retailers have history, character and variety. Although no shade if you are short on time and get a Starb’s gift card, mug, and bag of coffee! We all know I love my Starbucks! 20. There are so many options if you are working with a super tight budget to show her how much you love and appreciate her. I have always loved making my Mom a homemade card, gifting a plant (think snake plants, which are low maintenance and hard to kill!), bake something (check out my Healthy Homemade Granola Recipe, put it in a jar with a bow and VOILA!), or take her to an experience (as above) or cheap Tuesdays at the movie theatre. At the end of the day, she will appreciate the thought and enjoy spending TIME with you, and you can’t put a price on that!
